(LEBANON, Ill., March 4)--The semifinal round games of the 2008 AMC Women's Basketball Tournament scheduled for Tuesday have been postponed. Snow and ice throughout the greater St. Louis region have made travel conditions hazardous.
The games have been rescheduled for Thursday, March 6, and both games will begin at 7 p.m. Top-seeded McKendree University will host No. 4 seed Missouri Baptist University, while No. 3 seed Columbia College will travel to No. 2 Harris-Stowe State University.
The AMC Women's Basketball Tournament championship game, which was originally slated for Friday, March 7, has tentatively been moved to Saturday, March 8. Click

The winner of the 2008 AMC Women's Basketball Tournament receives the conference's automatic bid to the NAIA Division I Women's Basketball National Championship, which will be held March 19-25 at Oman Arena in Jackson, Tenn.
