(LEBANON, Ill., April 24)--The members of the 2008 American Midwest Conference Softball Academic All-Conference team were honored Thursday in a ceremony held between first-round games at the AMC Tournament.

There were 79 student-athletes recognized for their achievements in the classroom. To be eligible for AMC Academic All-Conference honors, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale.
