(LEBANON, Ill., Sept. 19)--Lucas Breneman of William Woods University has been selected the American Midwest Conference Cross Country Runner of the Week for Sept. 17.

Breneman, a senior from Mexico, Mo., placed 77th out of 321 runners at the Missouri Southern State University Stampede last Saturday. Breneman posted a personal best time of 26:08 on the eight-kilometer course. Breneman helped the Owls to a 20th-place team finish out of 37 squads competing in Joplin, Mo.
