(LEBANON, Ill., Oct. 16)--Meagan Hudson from Missouri Baptist University has been selected as the American Midwest Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for Oct. 13.

Hudson, a junior from Festus, Mo., turned in a strong performance Saturday at the Border Wars Invitational, which was hosted by Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. Hudson was the top NAIA runner in the meet, taking 10th place out of 131 that competed in the event. She covered the five-kilometer course in a time of 18:54.

This is the second time in 2008 that Hudson, the AMC women's individual champion last year, has earned conference honors.
