(LEBANON, Ill., Oct. 29)--Kenny Kibii from Missouri Baptist University has been named the American Midwest Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for Oct. 27.

Kibii, a junior from Eldoret, Kenya, was the top Spartans' runner Saturday at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy Invitational in St. Louis. Kibii covered the five-kilometer course in a time of 15:58 to lead a strong group of Missouri Baptist runners in the meet. Teammate Steve Bender was just five seconds behind in fourth place at 16:03.
