Zach Fox was the William Woods offense in the Owls' 2-1 win over Missouri Valley
(LEBANON, Ill., Nov. 4)--Zach Fox from William Woods University and Chance Walker from the University of Illinois at Springfield have been honored by the American Midwest Conference for their play in games from Oct. 27-Nov. 1.

Fox, a junior midfielder from Kansas City, Mo., was named the AMC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. Fox provided the Owls' offense in a 2-1 home victory against Missouri Valley College. Fox scored both goals for William Woods in the effort. The pair of goals doubled Fox's season total to four. He has scored 11 points for the Owls, who are 9-8-1 heading into AMC Tournament play.

For the third time this season, Walker has earned AMC Defensive Player of the Week accolades. Walker, a senior goalkeeper from El Paso, Ill., had a busy day in goal as the Prairie Stars earned a 1-1 tie in their regular-season finale against St. Ambrose University. He made 10 saves in the contest, including a few key stops for UIS.

Walker has played every game in goal for Illinois-Springfield, registering 104 saves and a goals-against average of 1.22.
