Ashley Morgan continues to rewrite the Owls' record books
(LEBANON, Ill., Nov. 12)--Ashley Morgan of William Woods University has been selected as the final American Midwest Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the 2008 season. Morgan's latest honor covers the period from Nov. 3-9.

Morgan, a senior forward from Valparaiso, Ind., notched a hat trick with an assist in the Owls' 10-0 victory  against Harris-Stowe State University. She now holds the William Woods' records for goals in a season (24) and points in a season (57). In addition, Morgan is the Owls' career leader in assists with 29.
This is the third time this season that Morgan, the 2007 AMC Player of the Year, has earned weekly honors from the conference. The William Woods University Owls are currently 13-7 on the year and will face McKendree University on Nov. 13 in the AMC Tournament championship contest.
There were no nominees for AMC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
