Owls In 28th After Two Rounds
(SILVIS, Ill., May 20) - The William Woods University men's golf team completed its second round at the 2009 NAIA National Championships at the TPC at John Deere Run in Silvis, Ill.  The Owls are in 28th place after two rounds.
The Owls shot an opening round 334, and a second round 313.  After two days, the Owls are +79.  Oklahoma Christian College leads the field with rounds of 291 and 298 (+21).  William Woods is competing in its second consecutive NAIA National Championship.
 
Junior Kyle Kovar leads the Owls after two days.  Kovar shot an opening round 81, and a second round 78.  He is tied for 90th at +17.  Axel Ochoa (Oklahoma Christian) leads the field with rounds of 69 and 70.  Ochoa is at -3 after two rounds.
