(LEBANON, Ill., Oct. 20)--Liesl Nauck of Hannibal-LaGrange College has been selected as the American Midwest Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for Oct. 19. The honor covers the period from Oct. 12-18.

Nauck, a junior from Andover, Kan., took 12th place at the Illinois College Invitational on Saturday. She covered the six-kilometer course in a time of 25:15. She posted her team's best time despite running on a muddy course.
