Skye Wade had 43 digs in two victory last week for the Owls
(LEBANON, Ill., Nov. 9)--Skye Wade of William Woods University has earned the final American Midwest Conference Volleyball Player of the Week award for 2009. The honor covers games played from Nov. 2-8.

Wade, a senior defensive specialist/outside hitter from Licking, Mo., anchored the back row for the Owls in two non-conference victories to close out the regular season. Wade collected 43 digs for the week, including 23 in a 3-1 win over NCAA Division II member Missouri S & T University.

In addition, Wade added a kill in the match for William Woods. The Owls will take a No. 2 seed into this week's AMC Volleyball Tournament.
