(LEBANON, Ill., Jan. 5)--Logan Decker of William Woods University has been named as the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week for Jan. 4.

Decker, a 5-11 freshman guard from Kansas City, Mo., was honored for his play in the Owls' games at the Cougars vs. Cancer Classic, which was hosted by Columbia College. Decker averaged 15.5 points and 3.5 rebounds in two contests. He was 12-of-26 from the field (46.2 percent), including a 4-of-12 efforts (33.3 percent) from three-point range. Decker also made three of four shots from the foul line.

In addition Decker handed out three assists and picked up four steals for the weekend. For his efforts, Decker was named to the All-Tournament Team in the Classic.
