Columbia, Mo. - Columbia College Lady Cougar Rachel Oswald has been named to the NAIA Division I Women's Basketball All-American Team.  Oswald is no stranger to the All-American team, as she receives the honor for the third time in her career.

The All-American teams, which include three teams of 10 players and honorable mention selections, are selected by an All-American Committee comprised of coaches throughout the country.

Rachel Oswald, a 6-foot senior forward from Boonville, Mo., was selected to the Third Team for the first time in her career and was the only representative from the Lady Cougars.  Oswald led Columbia in scoring (14.9) and rebounding (9.35) this season.  She played in all 34 games, starting 32, for the Lady Cougars leading them to an overall record of 28-6 and a first finish in the AMC regular season standings.

Oswald finishes her career at Columbia ranked first in career rebounds (860), second in scoring (1,552), third in blocks (83) and fifth in steals (171).

Rachel is a three time first team all-conference selection and was named the Player of the Year this season in the American Midwest Conference. She is ranked in the top 50 in nine categories this season and finished with 16 double doubles, ranking her seventh in the NAIA.
