(LEBANON, Ill., March 30)--The American Midwest Conference has announced its Baseball Player and Pitcher of the Week honorees for March 29. The awards cover outstanding performances in games from March 22-28.
William Woods University swept its way to both honors this week as Ezra Dickerson was named the AMC Baseball Player of the Week, while Logan Lawson was recognized as the AMC Baseball Pitcher of the Week.
Dickerson, a junior outfielder from Los Angeles, Calif., collected nine hits in 13 at-bats for an average of .693 in four games last week. Dickerson added seven runs scored, two doubles and a triple along with three RBI to his lofty average.
