Player of the Week - Ed Breuchaud, McKendree College

Columbia, Mo. –  Ed Breuchaud, a senior outfielder for the McKendree College Bearcats, has been named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week in men's baseball for the week of March 11-17. Breuchaud, who hails from Greenville, Ill., led the Bearcats to a 2-2 mark last week, batting .385, including five hits in 13 trips to the plate. For the week, he tallied two runs scored, two doubles, one triple and one RBI.

Pitcher of the Week – Adam Szweda, Missouri Baptist College

Columbia, Mo. – Adam Szweda, a junior right-handed hurler from Missouri Baptist College, has been named the American Midwest Conference Pitcher of the Week in men's baseball for the week of March 11-17. Szweda went 2-0 for the Spartans last week, pitching two complete games and tallying a 1.80 ERA. In 18 innings on the mound, the Parma, Ohio native allowed 11 hits and five walks, while fanning 16 batters.
