Player of the Week - Yamil Maisonet, Missouri Baptist College

Columbia, Mo. –  Yamil Maisonet, a senior at Missouri Baptist College, has been named AMC Player of the Week for the week of March 25 - 31.  A native of Caguas, Puerto Rico, Maisonet hit .545, totaling 12 hits in 22 at-bats. In addition, Maisonet scored seven runs, while totaling one triple, one double, three home runs and 17 RBIs in Missouri Baptist's six games last week.

Pitcher of the Week – Darren Ott, McKendree College

Columbia, Mo. – Darren Ott, a right-handed pitcher for the McKendree College Bearcats, has been named the AMC Pitcher of the Week for the week of March 25-31. Ott pitched a seven inning shutout vs. conference foe Hannibal-LaGrange, tallying five strikeouts, while allowing just two walks and three hits. For the season, Ott, who hails from Stannton, Ill., is 3-0 with a 2.41 ERA.
