Player of the Week - Jan Ramos, Missouri Baptist College

Columbia, Mo. –  Jan Ramos, a senior for the Missouri Baptist Spartans, has been named AMC Player of the Week for the week of April 8-14.  Ramos led the Spartans to a 5-1 week, tallying ten hits in 22 at-bats for an average of .455. The San Juan, Puerto Rico native tallied three doubles, three home runs, nine RBIs and scored seven runs.

Pitcher of the Week – Shawn Anderson, William Woods University

Columbia, Mo. – Shawn Anderson, a right-handed pitcher for the William Woods University Owls, has been named the AMC Pitcher of the Week for the week of April 8-14. In a 7-0 shutout over conference rival William Baptist, Anderson pitched seven innings, recording six strikeouts, while allowing zero earned run and just one walk. Anderson hails from Elkart, Kan.
