Player of the Week
D.J. Session, McKendree College

Columbia, Mo. –  D.J. Session, a catcher/first baseman for the McKendree Bearcats, has been named AMC Player of the Week for the week of April 15-21.  In McKendree's two wins last week, Session tallied four hits in six at-bats, notching a .667 batting average. He scored three runs and drove in six Bearcat runs. In addition, the Centralia, Ill. native recorded a double and a home run.

Pitcher of the Week
Shawn Anderson, William Woods University

Columbia, Mo. – For the second consecutive week, Shawn Anderson, a right-handed pitcher for the William Woods University Owls, has been named the AMC Pitcher of the Week. Anderson has thrown 12 consecutive scoreless innings vs. AMC foes, including seven last week vs. Hannibal-LaGrange. In the 12-0 victory, the Elkart, Kan. native recorded seven strikeouts, while giving up one hit and one walk.
