Brandon Talbot, William Woods University

Columbia, Mo. – Brandon Talbot, a senior for the William Woods University Owls, has been named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week for the week of April 22-29.  Talbot tallied a batting average of .538 last week, leading William Woods to a 4-0 week. He collected seven hits in 13 appearances at the plate, including one double, two home runs and 11 RBIs. In addition, the Elsberry, Mo. native scored seven runs and stole two bases.

Columbia, Mo. – Eddie Breuchaud, a senior left handed hurler for the McKendree Bearcats, has been named the American Midwest Conference Pitcher of the Week for the week of April 22-29. In a 2-0 shutout vs. Williams Baptist College, the Greenville, Ill. native allowed just four hits and no walks, while fanning nine opposing batters.
