Player of the Week - Matt Laur, McKendree College Columbia, MO - For the second consecutive week, Matt Laur, a senior center for the McKendree Bearcats, has been named the AMC Player of the Week in men's basketball. Laur led the Bearcats to two AMC wins last week, pushing their league mark to 7-0. The Kindmundy, Ill. native hit the game-winning lay-up with five seconds remaining to cap McKendree's 64-62 come-from-behind win vs. Columbia College. For the week, he shot 53 percent and averaged 22 points and 10.5 rebounds. He also blocked five shots, passed out four assists and swiped three steals.
