Men's Basketball - Nahowan Saxon, Columbia College
The AMC Player of the Week in men's basketball is Nahowan Saxon from Columbia College. In Columbia's 75-47 win over Maryville (Mo.) University, the Virgin Islands resident put in 18 points, converting 62 percent of his field goal tries. He also grabbed six rebounds and posted two blocked shots and three steals.

Women's Basketball - Charliss Ridley, Columbia College
Charliss Ridley, a senior forward for the Columbia Lady Cougars, is the AMC Player of the Week. In Columbia's final win of the first semester over Brescia (Ky.) University, the Wheaton, Ill. native posted 21 points and grabbed five rebounds. She shot 47 percent from the field, putting in eight of her 17 field goal attempts.
