Player of the Week - Donald Bell, Hannibal-LaGrange College [Columbia, MO] - Donald Bell, a 5-9 sophomore guard for the Hannibal-LaGrange College Trojans, has been named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week in men's basketball. Bell led the Trojans to three victories last week,connecting on 13 of his 27 shots from long range (48%) and seven of his eight attempts from the free throw line (88%). The Tyler, Tex. native averaged 19.3 points, four rebounds and four assists per outing, pushing Hannibal-LaGrange to first place in the AMC with a record of 16-3.
