Player of the Week - Darrell Flake, McKendree College

Columbia, MO - Darrell Flake, a 6-4 senior forward for the McKendree College Bearcats, has been named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week in men's basketball for the week of Feb. 19-24. Flake recorded the sixth 30-plus performance of his career last week, netting 33 points vs. East-West (Ill.) College. He shot 75 percent from the field, connecting on 15 of her 20 attempts. In addition, the Chicago, Ill. native pulled down nine rebounds, passed out five steals and swiped one steal. Flake needs just 17 points to become McKendree's single-season scoring leader.
