Player of the Week - Mike Hendren, Missouri Baptist College

[Columbia, MO] - Mike Hendren, a senior forward for the Missouri Baptist College Spartans, has been named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week in men's basketball for the week of Jan. 22-28. The 6-5 Russellville, Ark. native averaged 24.5 points, six rebounds and two assists, leading the Spartans to AMC victories over Williams Baptist College and McKendree College. For the week, Hendren connected on 77 percent of his shots from the field, dropping 20 of his 26 attempts. In addition, he shot 80 percent from the free throw line, hitting eight of his ten attempts.
