Player of the Week - Amy Niebrugge, McKendree College

[Columbia, MO] - Amy Niebrugge, a 6-0 senior center for the McKendree College Bearcats, has been named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week for women's basketball for Nov. 22-28. Niebrugge, who hails from Teutopolis, Ill., averaged 21.3 points and 10.7 rebounds per outing. In McKendree's three games versus nationally- ranked opponents last week, she managed a double-double in  points and rebounds in each contest. In addition, Niebrugge shot 80 percent from the foul line, connecting on eight of her ten attempts. She also totaled eight assists and seven steals.

Also nominated: Stephanie Sebacher, William Woods University; Sarah Howell, Missouri Baptist College.
