Player of the Week - Sarah Howell, Missouri Baptist College

[Columbia, MO] - Sarah Howell, a 5-8 guard/forward for the Missouri Baptist College Spartans, has been named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week in women's basketball. Howell averaged 15.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in each of Missouri Baptist's two games last week. From the field, the Thayer, Mo. native connected on 13 of her 20 attempts (65%) and from the foul line, she was almost perfect, hitting five of her six attempts (83%). In a 62-58 upset of top-ranked McKendree College, Howell scored a double-double, grabbing 12 rebounds and netting 12 points.
