Player of the Week - Vimbayi Muhoma, Hannibal-LaGrange College

[Columbia, MO] - Vimbayi Muhoma, a 6-0 senior forward for the Hannibal-LaGrange College Trojans, has been named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week for women's basketball for the week of Jan. 19 - Jan. 24. Muhoma led the Trojans to a 3-0 record last week, including two victories in AMC regular-season action vs. Harris-Stowe State College and Missouri Baptist College. Muhoma, who hails from Bulowaya, Zimbabwe, averaged a double-double in scoring and rebounding in Hannibal's three victories, totaling 21 points and 12 rebounds per game. Muhoma shot 50 percent from the field and converted 85 percent of her free throws, netting 22 of her 26 attempts from the charity stripe.
