Player of the Week 
Lisa Kowalewski, Columbia College

Columbia, MO - Lisa Kowalewski, a 5-9 freshman guard for the Columbia College Cougars, has been named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week in women's basketball for the week of Jan. 13 - 20. Kowalewski, a native of St. Charles, Mo., averaged 18 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.5 steals, leading the Cougars to a 3-0 record for the week. She netted 56 percent of her shots from the field and 44 percent of her attempts from beyond the three-point arc.
