Four Named NAIA Baseball All-Americans
St. Louis, Mo. -Four American Midwest Conference (AMC) baseball players were named to the NAIA All-America Team, announced on Wednesday by the National Office.
Cayden Nicoletto, from Columbia College, earned First Team All-America honors. The American Midwest Conference Player of the Year was third in the NAIA with 27 home runs and a .915 slugging percentage, with an NAIA-best 49 extra base hits. He hit .412 and had a Conference-best 81 runs batted. Nicoletto was a Second Team All-American last season.
Missouri Baptist University's Cole Robinson and Columbia College's Indy Stanley were both named to the Second Team.
Robinson, junior first baseman, led the AMC in OPS (1.440), slugging percentage (.902), on-base percentage (.538), and batting average (.454), and ranked second with 73 RBI.
Stanley led the AMC with a .450 batting average and finished second behind Nicoletto with 86 hits. He was the primary catcher on the Conference's top pitching team that finished with an AMC-best 4.52 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and .270 batting average against. Stanley also earned Second Team All-American honors following the 2022 season.
Alex Adams, the AMC Tournament MVP for Missouri Baptist University earned Third Team All-America Honors following a season in which he finished third in the Conference in extra base hits (38), home runs (22), RBI (71), walks (37) and slugging percentage (.800).
