St. Louis, Mo. – Barrett Lohman of UHSP and Mari Thomas of Williams Baptist earned this week's American Midwest Conference (AMC) Baseball Players of the Week presented by AMCOnTheGo, announced the conference office this afternoon.

AMC Baseball Hitter of the Week

Mari Thomas, Williams Baptist

Sr. | IF | Bay, Ark. 

  • Led the Eagles to a three-game sweep over Hannibal-LaGrange.
  • Averaged .429 with a 1.000 slugging percentage and a .615 on-base percentage.
  • Went 3-for-7 with a double, three runs, five RBI, one homer, and two stolen bases.
  • Hit a grand slam in game one to tie the game at the bottom of the eighth in game one.

  • Earned the win on the mound with a 2-1 victory over Central Baptist.
  • In 7.0 innings pitched, he struck out 10 while allowing three hits and one run.

Other Notable Performance:

  • Gabe Dirnberger, Williams Baptist: earned the win on the mound with a complete-game shutout against Hannibal-LaGrange. Struck out seven, while allowing three hits.
