2026 AMC Men’s Golf Championship Preview

MELBOURNE, Ark. – The 2026 American Midwest Conference Men's Golf Championship will take place at Cooper's Hawk Golf Club in Melbourne, Ark. on April 20-21.  

Participating schools include Central Baptist College, Columbia College, Crowley's Ridge College, Hannibal-LaGrange University, Mission University, University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy, and Williams Baptist University.

ABOUT THE TEAMS

• Central Baptist has one tournament win at the CBC Fall Invite alongside six top-three finishes.  The Mustangs are one of three AMC teams in the Clippd top 100 at 97th.
• Columbia is in search of its third AMC title in four years after going back-to-back in 2023 and 2024.  The Cougars are the highest ranked team in the AMC at 68th in Clippd's rankings with two wins and seven top-three finishes.
• Crowley's Ridge has two top-five placements this season, with its highest placement coming at 4th place at the CBC Fall Invite.
• Hannibal-LaGrange secured a top-three finish at the HLGU Spring Invite and has finished in the top five six times this season.
• Mission captured a third-place finish at the AMC Preview with four top-five placements.
• UHSP has finished in the top 10 of every event it has participated in.
• Williams Baptist is in search of its second AMC Championship since taking home the title in 2021.  The Eagles are the second highest ranked team in the league at 81st in Clippd's NAIA rankings with two wins and six top-three finishes.

ABOUT THE GOLFERS

• Columbia has placed five golfers in the top 10 of stroke average this season (Teagen Hull 1st - 74.8, Bruno Marti Jimenez T-2nd - 75.3, Blake Hartner 4th - 75.5, Landon Mabe 5th - 75.7, Tom Clarens T-6th - 75.9)
• WBU has the second most golfers in the top 10 with three (Jack Pierce T-2nd - 75.3, Curren Bounds T-6th - 75.9, Kaleb McClain 8th - 76.1)
• Crowley's Ridge posts two in the top 10 (Christopher Riddle 9th - 76.2, Cooper Hermann 10th - 76.5)

TOP RETURNING PLAYERS

• Only three of last year's top 10 finishers at the AMC Championship return for the 2026 tournament
• Landon Mabe (4th) and Blake Sykes (T-5th) return for Columbia 
• Curren Bounds (9th) returns for Williams

ABOUT THE CHAMPIONSHIP

• The AMC Men's Golf Championship will take place at Cooper's Hawk Golf Club in Melbourne, Ark. for the second consecutive season.
• The course will play par-72 at 6,325 yards
• The tournament is scheduled for 54 holes (36 on Monday and 18 on Tuesday)
• Tee times start at 8:30 a.m. on Monday
