AMC Men's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week - No. 3 (Jan. 24)

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - For the second consecutive week, Columbia College swept both American Midwest Conference Indoor Track & Field weekly awards after Alexander Dukes and Zane Torreyson showed out at the NAIA/Juco Invite this past weekend.


AMC Men's Track Athlete of the Week
Alexander Dukes, Columbia
Jr. | Mexico, Mo.

• Collected a third-place finish in the 3000m run out of 31 athletes
• Set a personal best time of 8:51.60 for the event in his first indoor meet of the season

AMC Men's Field Athlete of the Week
Zane Torreyson, Columbia
Jr. | Centralia, Mo.

• Placed 4^th in the shot put with a 13.37m toss
• Added another top-five finish after coming in fifth in the weight throw with a 14.00m effort

Other Notable Performances:

  • Landon Dunlap, William Woods (Mo.): Collected an eighth place finish in the 800m and a 12^th place finish in the mile at the Northwest Open
