AMC Men's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week - Week 1

St. Louis, Mo. - Haskell Indian Nations University's Eric Brazille (Track) and Missouri Baptist University's Mayson DeRousse (Field) have been selected as the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Men's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week. They were selected from nominees submitted by each institution based on their performances from Dec. 4-10 and chosen through a vote of Sports Information Directors from around the AMC.
AMC Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week
Eric Brazille, Haskell Indian Nations
So. | Edmond, Okla.
- Set a new school record for the 60-meter (7.18 seconds) and 200-meter (23.79 seconds) at the Bob Timmons Challenge.
- Won his heat in the 60-meters, placed 18th overall verses 43 athletes.
- First AMC Athlete of the Week honor.

AMC Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week
Mayson DeRousse, Missouri Baptist
Gr. | De Soto, Mo.
- Finished first at the Indiana University Early Bird meet in pole vault.
- He hit 5.05m, defeating eight NCAA Division I athletes.
- Currently ranks No. 2 in the NAIA for the pole vault.
- First AMC Athlete of the Week honor.
