Columbia, Mo. - (Men's Championships Page | Women's Championships Page) The 19th Annual American Midwest Conference (AMC) Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships are set to take place on Friday, Nov. 4 at Cosmo Park in Columbia, Mo.

Championship Notes:
- 2022 marks the second-straight year the Championships will be held at Cosmo Park in Columbia, Mo. The site also held the event in 2013.
- The men's 8K race begins at 10:30 AM, while the women's 5K will follow around 11:30 PM.
- After the Championship, the AMC will hold an awards ceremony near the finish line. The conference will announce the All-Conference Team, Coaching Staff of the Year, Runner of the Year, Freshman of the Year, Newcomer of the Year and the Champions of Character Team.
Men's Notes
- Since the first championship in 2004, there have been repeat team champions just four times. Missouri Baptist will try to make that five times, as the Spartans won the title in 2021.
- Columbia leads all AMC teams with eight team titles. Missouri Baptist is second with four and William Woods has three.
- Individually, Alexander Dukes looks to become the first-ever four-time AMC Men's Cross Country Individual Champion. Dukes enters the championship with the fifth-fastest time (25:57.30).
- Donovan Denslow of Missouri Baptist enters as the top runner with a time of 24:43.50. Denslow, named AMC Runner of the Week four times in 2022, finished fourth at the championships in 2021.
- 2021 individual runner-up Landon Dunlap (William Woods) comes in at No. 2 with a mark of 25:42.50.
Women's Notes
- Columbia is searching for its AMC-best seventh team championship. The Cougars have won the last five-straight.
- William Woods has six team titles and have been the highest ranked AMC team in the NAIA Coaches' Poll, as the Owls have "received votes" in every poll.
- The top-10 times on the individual leaderboard are runner from Missouri Baptist or William Woods.
- Mia Reed (Missouri Baptist) has three of the top-four fastest 5K times this season, with her fastest time of 18:46.80 coming at the Seminole Valley Stampede.
- Ellie Dimond of William Woods had the top spot, as she ran 18:34.20 at the Mid-States Classic. Dimond finished as the runner-up in 2021.
- Five runners who finished in the top-10 in 2021 return for 2022 - Ellie Dimond, William Woods (2nd), Alicia Engelbrecht, William Woods (4th), Jada O'donnell, Columbia (7th), Mekayla Gibson, William Woods (9th) and Mia Reed, Missouri Baptist (10th).
