AMC Cross Country Runners of the Week - No. 7 (Oct. 14)

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Madalenn Fee of Cottey and Jenson Starr of William Woods were named this week's American Midwest Conference Cross Country Runners of the Week, announced the conference office.

Both runners are now eligible for NAIA Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week which is announced on Wednesday.

AMC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Madalenn Fee, Cottey
Palmira, N.Y.

• Finished first in the Billy Mills Classic with a time of 17:48
• Set a new school record in the 5k race
• Third time this season being honored runner of the week

AMC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Jenson Starr, William Woods
Jefferson City, Mo.

• Finished fifth in the Brian T. Simpson Invite
• Ran the Owls' fastest 8K time (25:10.66) in over 12 years
• Not only recorded a new PR but he also recorded the third-fastest time among NAIA competitors

Other Notable Performance:
Chris Palmer, Central Baptist: broke his own 8k PR by nearly two minutes with a time of 27:38 in the University of the Ozarks Invitational.
