Columbia Captures 10th Consecutive AMC Women's Soccer Championship Title

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Columbia College Cougars are the 2024 American Midwest Conference Women's Soccer Champions after defeating Missouri Baptist this evening, 1-0. The Cougars improve to 17-1-1 on the season.
This is Columbia's 11th overall title and 10th consecutive.
Madeleine Sylanski scored the only goal of the night assisted by Macie Lucas in the 16th minute of the first period.
Gabby Mattli played 90 minutes in between posts for the Spartans. She recorded 12 saves with 10 coming in the first period.
Natalie Allison played 90 minutes on goal. She stopped one shot on the night.
The Cougars outshot the Spartans, 22-4.
With the victory, the Cougars earned an automatic berth to the NAIA National Championship Tournament, with their opening-round matchup to be announced on Saturday, November 16 at 1 p.m. CT. To watch the NAIA selection show, click HERE.
