Mother Nature Stays Undefeated on Day 2 of AMC Baseball Tournament

O'FALLON, Mo. - Mother Nature wasn't done yet. After a stormy opening to the 2025 American Midwest Conference Baseball Tournament, day two offered no relief.
Missouri Baptist managed to squeeze in a win over Central Baptist, but the Columbia vs. Mission matchup was halted in the bottom of the seventh due to continued inclement weather, leading to the suspension of the remaining games for the day.
Game 4: Missouri Baptist def. Central Baptist, 4-1
- Cole Robinson went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a double
- Jacob Kouneski collected two hits, including a double
- Tyson Ludwig added a hit and a run scored
- James Jett recorded one hit, one run and one RBI
- The Spartans outhit the Mustangs, 8-7
- On the mound, Gus Lucas picked up his fifth win of the season over 6.1 innings, allowing just one earned run on six hits while striking out three
- Greg Ryun and Zach Peters combined for 2.2 scoreless innings to close out the game
Game 5: Columbia vs. Mission
- Columbia was leading 4-3 in the bottom seventh when play was suspended due to inclement weather
