St. Louis, Mo. – Zac Fruend of Columbia and Jude Tenny of Mission were selected this week's American Midwest Conference (AMC) Baseball Players of the Week presented by AMCOnTheGo, announced the conference office this afternoon.

AMC Baseball Hitter of the Week

Zac Fruend, Columbia

Sr. | IF | O'Fallon, Mo.

  • Led the Cougars to a three-game sweep over Harris-Stowe
  • Averaged .615 with a 1.385 slugging percentage and a .615 on-base percentage.
  • Went 8-for-13 with one double and three homers.
  • Drove in five runs, while scoring seven runs.

Other Notable Performance:

  • Ryan Dauphinee, Central Baptist: moved into second place on CBC all-time doubles record. Recorded 10 hits, five doubles, six RBI and four runs on a three-game sweep over Hannibal-LaGrange and a split with College of the Ozarks.

  • Earned a win on the mound in the 16-0 shutout over Crowley's Ridge.
  • In 7.0 innings pitched, he struck out two while allowing two hits.

Other Notable Performance:

  • Gabe Dirnberger, Williams Baptist: in 6.0 innings pitched, he struck out 11 while allowing six hits and three runs in the 7-6 win over UHSP.
