St. Louis, Mo. – Skylar Morrison of Williams Baptist and Trey Mulholland of Mission were selected this week's American Midwest Conference (AMC) Baseball Players of the Week presented by AMCOnTheGo, announced the conference office this afternoon.

AMC Baseball Hitter of the Week

Skylar Morrison, Williams Baptist

Sr. | P | Campbell, Mo.

  • Led Williams to a sweep over Harris-Stowe
  • Averaged .778 with a 1.667 slugging percentage and a .700 on-base percentage.
  • Went 7-for-9 with a double, two homers, seven RBI,  one stolen bases and five runs.
  • His home run in game two broke the school record for the most home runs by an Eagle in a career with 26.
  • First AMC Player of the Week award of the season.

Other Notable Performance:

  • Aaron Prince, Central Baptist: led CBC to a three-game series win over CRC. Averaged .667 with a 1.500 slugging percentage and a .692 on-base percentage.

  • Led the Patriots to a 1-0 win over UHSP.
  • In 10.0 innings pitched, he struck out seven while allowing seven hits.
  • First AMC Player of the Week award of the season.

Other Notable Performance:

  • Wyatt Wilson, Hannibal-LaGrange: in 6.0 innings pitched in the 7-1 win over Harris-Stowe, he struck out five while allowing three hits and one run.
