St. Louis, Mo. – Joey Marcinkiewicz of Columbia and Tristan Calmes of UHSP earned this week's American Midwest Conference (AMC) Baseball Players of the Week presented by AMCOnTheGo, announced the conference office this afternoon.

AMC Baseball Hitter of the Week

Joey Marcinkiewicz, Columbia

Jr. | OF | Fenton, Mo.

  • Led Cougars to a 3-1 week, including a three-game series win over UHSP.
  • Averaged .600 with a 1.333 slugging percentage and a .647 on-base percentage.
  • Went 9-for-15 with two doubles, three homers, four RBI, and six runs.
  • First AMC Player of the Week honor of the season.

Other Notable Performance:

  • Aiden Smith, Crowley's Ridge: 6-for-11 with a double, a homer, four RBI, six runs, and no strikeouts in the three-game series win over Hannibal-LaGrange. Averaged .545 with a .909 slugging percentage and a .667 on-base percentage.

  • Recorded an ERA of 2.00.
  • Second AMC Player of the Week award of the season.

Other Notable Performance:

  • Jude Tenny, Mission: earned two wins on the mound this week for the Patriots. In 14.0 innings pitched, he struck out 16 while allowing 14 hits and four runs.
