Renn, Fruend Earned NAIA Baseball All-America Honors

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) in coordination with the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) has announced the 2026 All-Americans. Columbia College named two baseball players, Tyler Renn and Zac Fruend.
Renn earned First Team All-American recognition after being named to the Third Team during the 2025 campaign. This season, he started in all 44 games leading the Cougars with 54 RBI. Renn also recorded 60 hits, 13 doubles, 17 home runs, and a .392 batting average. The Jefferson City, Mo. native broke multiple career program records with 288 hits, 69 doubles, 58 home runs, 241 RBI, 724 at bats, and 547 total bases. He is also second in the record books for games played with 207. Renn was named AMC Player of the Year, AMC First Team All-Conference, AMC Gold Glove Team, and AMC Academic All-Conference.
For the first time in his career, Fruend was named Third Team All-American. The O'Fallon, Mo. native led the Cougars with 72 hits, 17 doubles, 17 home runs, and a .421 batting average. Fruend was also named AMC First Team All-Conference, AMC Hitter of the Week (March 23, April 13), College Sports Communicators CSC Academic All-District®, NAIA Scholar-Athlete, and AMC Academic All-Conference.
