Oklahoma City Claims 2024 AMC / SAC Competitive Cheer Qualifier

St. Louis, Mo. -The Oklahoma City Stars claimed the 2024 American Midwest Conference (AMC) / Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) Competitive Cheer Qualifier hosted by Missouri Baptist University.
Oklahoma City scored 90.74 points to claim the Grouping's automatic berth to the NAIA National Championship and edged out Missouri Baptist, who second with 86.10 points followed by William Woods (82.02 points) in third. Langston (76.96), Oklahoma Panhandle State (62.71), Williams Baptist (57.63) and Columbia (55.29) also competed in the Qualifier. Seventy-five percent of the team's score is from their performance in the finals and 25 percent from their preliminary performance.
The 8th Annual NAIA Competitive Cheer National Championship is March 29-30 in Ypsilanti, Mich. The entire field of national qualifiers will be announced by the NAIA on Monday, March 18.

In conjunction with Saturday's Qualifier, select student-athletes competed for All-Conference honors on Friday evening. The following award winners were recognized following the Qualifier.
