2026 AMC Men’s Basketball Semifinals Recap

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – (TOURNAMENT PAGE) The Columbia College Cougars advanced to the AMC Tournament title game for the first time since 2023, while the Williams Baptist University Eagles are making their first championship appearance since 2018.
Tipoff is set for March 2 at 7 p.m. at W.E. Dowell Fieldhouse on the campus of Mission University.
Game Five: Columbia def. Central Baptist – 78-67 (BOX SCORE)
- Tyler Johnson from the Mustangs led all scorers with 20 points and added eight boards.
- Dalton Alexander III and Keshun Brown each contributed 11 points.
- The Cougars had two players post a double-double: Jemeal Goines (14 points and 14 rebounds) and Johnny Anderson (14 points and 10 rebounds).
- Caleb Jones led the team with 19 points, while AJ Walker had 19 points.
- Central Baptist closes its season with a record of 11-16.
- Columbia improves to 27-3.
Game Six: Williams Baptist def. Hannibal-LaGrange – 77-72 (BOX SCORE)
- Amarion Wilson led the Eagles with 19 points and seven rebounds.
- Benjamin Noonan added 16 points, while Jesse Washington scored 14 points.
- All five starters for Hannibal-LaGrange scored double-figures: Ian McDonald (19), Kell Estep (14), Davaughn Hueitt (11), Braylon Diggs (11) and Josh Talton (10).
- Diggs recorded a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.
- With the win, Williams Baptist improves to 22-5 on the season.
- Hannibal-LaGrange concludes its season with a 19-8 record.
