2026 AMC Men’s Basketball All-Tournament Announced
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The American Midwest Conference (AMC) announced the 2026 Men's Basketball All-Tournament Team. The 11-player team is led by Tournament Most Valuable Jemeal Goines, a forward from Columbia College, who earned the honor by unanimous vote.
The All-Tournament Team was selected by the eight tournament-qualifying coaches. The MVP is voted on by a selection committee made up of the AMC staff and two coaches.
Goines led the Cougars to their first title since 2022-23 and 13th overall. Through three games, he scored 42 points, averaging 14.0 points per game. He pulled down 40 boards, averaging 13.3 rebounds per game. He shot 15-for-25 from the field, averaging .600, and 10-for-12 from the foul-line with an .833 average.
