AMC Men's Soccer All-Conference & Season Award Winners Announced

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The American Midwest Conference (AMC) has announced the 2024 AMC Men's Soccer season awards, All-Conference Teams, Champions of Character Team and Academic All-Conference Team.
- 2024 marks the first time a Second Team All-Conference is recognized, previously there was a First Team and Honorable Mentions.
- Jacobo Obradors becomes the third straight (and third-ever) Williams Baptist Eagle to earn AMC Men's Soccer Player of the Year honors. He is also the fourth men's soccer player to be named both Conference Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year during their career.
- With Columbia teammates Brady Freeman and Fabricio Roberti being named Freshman and Newcomer of the Year, it marks the fourth time those two awards went to the same school in the same year (2009 Columbia, 2017 William Woods and 2021 Columbia)
- Leading his team to its first-ever outright AMC regular season title, William Woods' Tommy Nienhaus becomes the second Owl coach selected AMC Coach of the Year by his peers.
- Williams Baptist's Jacobo Obradors was named to the All-Conference First Team for the fifth time in his career.
- Health Sciences & Pharmacy's Jacob Woodard, Missouri Baptist's Marko Dordevic and William Woods' Omar Murillo were all named First Team All-Conference for the third time in their career.
- Six players earned their second First Team All-Conference selection (Carter Redford-CC, Leonardo Mori-HSSU, Ognjen Bozovic-MBU, Emilio Hernandez, MBU, Luis Pinto-WWU, and Rodrigo Pina-WBU).
- University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy has won the Fair Play and Sportsmanship Award for the fourth time in the past five seasons.
- The season awards and All-Conference Teams are selected by a vote of the Conference men's soccer coaches.
- The Champions of Character Team includes one player from each school, selected by their coach and teammates as the individual who best exemplifies the Five Core Values of the NAIA Champions of Character Initiative - Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, Integrity and Servant Leadership.
- To be eligible for Academic All-Conference honors, student-athletes must be in their second semester at their AMC institution, have at least a 3.0 GPA and finish the year on the team.
