AMC Men's Soccer Semifinals Preview

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The 2025 American Midwest Conference (AMC) Men's Soccer Tournament Semifinals are set for Saturday, Nov. 8, with matches hosted by the higher seeds.
The winners will advance to the Championship match, scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 11, with an automatic bid to the NAIA National Tournament on the line.
Game Three: (1) Columbia vs. Hannibal-LaGrange – 4:00 PM
- Columbia captured its 12th regular-season title and is now aiming for its 12th tournament championship. The Cougars last won the regular-season crown in 2020. They enter the tournament with a 9-5-3 overall record and a 5-0-1 mark in conference play.
- Josh Sutton leads the AMC in both goals (9) and points (19). Cameron Watts tops the conference in assists with 10, while Osman Naz ranks second in save percentage at .778.
- Hannibal-LaGrange advanced to the semifinals after a 1-1 draw with Central Baptist, moving on via penalty kicks.
- Henry Munoz scored during regulation, and in the shootout, Thomas Sanchez, Clemente Cabrera, and Munoz each converted their PKs.
- Columbia defeated Hannibal-LaGrange 3-0 in their regular-season matchup.
- This marks Columbia's fourth consecutive trip to the AMC Tournament Semifinals. The Cougars hold a 13-6-1 all-time record in semifinal play.
- Hannibal-LaGrange is making its first semifinal appearance since 2021 and carries a 6-9-0 record in AMC Tournament Semifinals.
Game Four: (2) Williams Baptist vs. Harris-Stowe – 1:00 PM
- Williams Baptist enters the semifinals with a 7-7-2 overall record and a 5-1 conference record, seeking its first-ever AMC Tournament title.
- Ricardo da Silva leads the conference in shots (38), ranks second in points (14), and sits third in goals (6). John Smith ranks second in goals-against average with 0.87.
- Harris-Stowe earned its semifinal berth with a 2-0 victory over Mission.
- Jovan Momic and Leonardo Mori provided the scoring for the Hornets.
- Williams Baptist defeated Harris-Stowe 1-0 during the regular season.
- This is Williams Baptist's fourth consecutive AMC Tournament Semifinal appearance. The Eagles hold a 2-2-1 record in semifinals.
