AMC Men's Soccer Semifinals Recap

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Columbia College and Harris-Stowe State University have advanced to the championship game of the 2025 American Midwest Conference (AMC) Men's Soccer Tournament.
The final is set for Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 6 p.m, in Columbia, Mo., with an automatic bid to the NAIA National Tournament on the line.
This marks the third time the two programs will meet in the AMC championship match. The first meeting came in 1999, when the match ended in a 0-0 tie, with Harris-Stowe advancing on penalty kicks. In the following here, the Cougars earned a 3-1 victory.
Game Three: (1) Columbia def. Hannibal-LaGrange, 1-0 (BOX SCORE)
- The Cougars advanced to the finals after an own goal in the 89th minute.
- Mason Beck earned the win in goal with three saves, securing the clean sheet.
- CC outshot HLGU, 10-5.
- Sergio Arenas played in between posts for the Trojans as he stopped two shots.
- This marks Columbia's fourth consecutive trip to the AMC Tournament Finals. The Cougars hold a 10-3-2 record in finals play.
- Hannibal-LaGrange closes the season with a 5-10-4 record on the season and 2-3-1 in AMC play.
Game Four: Harris-Stowe def. Williams Baptist, 3-2 (BOX SCORE)
- The Hornets advanced to the finals with a 3-2 win over the second-seeded Williams Baptist.
- Alexis Santillan scored the first goal for the Hornets assisted by Leonardo Mori in the 19th minute.
- Mori added one of his own assisted by Mario De la Fuente in the 33rd minute, while De la Fuente netted the Hornets' third goal in the 35th minute.
- The Eagles attempted a comeback in the second period with goals from Mateus Ribeiro and Matheus Farias but was unable to equalize.
- Matheus Pereira da Silva recorded 10 saves in goal for the Hornets with six coming from the second half, earning the win in goal.
- WBU outshot HSSU, 23-16.
- This marks Harris-Stowe fourth trip to the AMC Tournament Title game. The Hornets hold a 0-2-1 record in previous finals.
- Williams Baptist ends the season with a 7-8-2 overall and 5-1-0 in conference play.
