COLUMBIA, Mo. - Columbia College will take on Harris-Stowe State University in the championship game of the 2025 American Midwest Conference (AMC) Men's Soccer Tournament.

The final is set for Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 6 p.m, in Columbia, Mo., with an automatic bid to the NAIA Tournament on the line. 

Game Five: Columbia vs. Harris-Stowe, 6:00 PM

  • This marks the third time the two programs will meet in the AMC championship match.
  • Columbia advanced to their fourth straight AMC Men's Soccer championship game.
  • Harris-Stowe advanced to the finals for the first time since 2021.
  • The Cougars moved on to the finals after a 1-0 victory over Hannibal-LaGrange in the semifinals.
  • The Hornets earned a spot in the finals after a 3-2 win over Williams Baptist in the semifinals and a 2-0 victory over Mission in the quarterfinals.
  • CC enters the game with a 10-5-3 record on the season and 5-0-1 in AMC play.
  • HSSU enters the game with a 9-6-3 overall record and 4-1-1 in conference play. 
  • During the regular season, Columbia and Harris-Stowe tied 0-0.
  • Goalie Mason Beck has three saves for the Cougars during the tournament.
  • Leonardo Mori has two goals and two assists for the Hornets in the tournament. Goalkeeper Matheus Pereira da Silva has 10 saves.
  • Columbia is making its 16th trip to the championship match with a 10-3-2 record in championship matches and 37-10-3 overall.
  • The Cougars lead the all-time series between the two teams with a 35-7-2 record.
  • The Hornets are currently 0-2-1 in championship matches.
  • The last time they faced each other during the postseason was in the quarterfinals in 2024, with Columbia winning, 4-0.
  • The Cougars currently lead the all-time series in tournament play, 3-0-1.
  • This is the sixth time the championship match has featured the #1 and #1-seeds. The top-seed is 3-0-2 in the previous five meetings.
  • The last time the #1 and #3-seeds met in the championship match was 2021 when #1-Lyon defeated #3-Harris-Stowe, 2-1.
