AMC Men's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week - No. 2 (Jan. 16)

St. Louis, Mo. - Donovan Denslow and Jordan Walker-Wright, both of Missouri Baptist, have been selected as the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Men's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week, the league announced on Monday. They were selected from nominees submitted by each institution based on their performances from January 9 through January 15 and chosen through a vote of Sports Information Directors from around the AMC.

The next NAIA Men's Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week awards will be announced on Wednesday.

Donovan Denslow, Missouri Baptist
Jr. | Eolia, Mo.

• Competed in the 3,000-meter run at the EIU John Craft Invitational.
• Ran 8:26.16, placing second out of 28 runners.
• Hit the NAIA "A" Standard and qualified for the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships.

AMC Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week
Jordan Walker-Wright, Missouri Baptist
So. | Florissant, Mo.

• Finished fourth out of 15 in the shot put (13.47-meters) at the EIU John Craft Invitational.
• At the same meet, he placed 5^th out of 13 in the weight throw (13.71-meters).
• Now owns the top mark in the AMC in the shot put and the second-best distance in the weight throw.
