NAIA Men's Indoor Track & Field National Championships Day One Recap

Brookings, S.D. - (NAIA Winter Championships Tracker Page | Results) The American Midwest Conference (AMC) saw seven athletes compete on day one of the NAIA Men's Track & Field National Championships.
Donovan Denslow (Missouri Baptist) qualified for the 5000-meter run finals after placing ninth in the prelims in a time of 15:03.95. The finals will take place on Saturday at 4:00 PM.
In the same event, Columbia's Alexander Dukes placed 31st with a time of 15:41.16.
Missouri Baptist's distance medley relay team of Ethan Bliss, Keon Graham, Josiah Heras and David Fletcher finished 25th with a time of 10:59.87.
Both Dukes and the distance medley relay team failed to advance to the finals.
in the heptathlon, Camden Woolbright is currently tied for 14th after four events with 2468 points. The heptathlon will resume on Friday at 10:00 AM.
In addition to Woolbright, the AMC will see more athletes compete on Friday as Gavin Frantz (Columbia) and Isaiah Hoelscher (Hannibal-LaGrange) compete in the weight throw at 12:00 PM, Jordan Crawford of Missouri Baptist will compete in the 3000-meter race walk at 11:25 AM and Landon Dunlap of William Woods will participate in the men's mile at 12:20 PM.
