AMC Track & Field Academic and Champions of Character Teams Announced

St. Louis, Mo. - The American Midwest Conference (AMC) has announced the members of the 2022 Track & Field Academic All-AMC team and the Champions of Character Team.
The Academic All-Conference Team criteria include having a cumulative 3.0 GPA and complete the season. Fall sport freshmen are not eligible their first year. Academic AllConference nominations and selections shall be verified by the Faculty Athletic Representative and/or the Registrar before being submitted for All-Conference Team selection. Nominations are to the Conference SID by October 15 (fall sports), February 1 (winter sports) and April 15 (spring sports). In the sports of soccer, volleyball, and basketball, student-athletes earning Academic All-Conference honors will be recognized during the quarterfinals of their sport's Tournament. In the sports of baseball and softball, studentathletes earning Academic All-Conference honors will be recognized on the first day of the Conference Tournament. In all other sports, student-athletes earning Academic AllConference will be announced following the Conference Tournament.

Each team competing in AMC competition shall select one member of their team according to the criteria established for the NAIA National Champions of Character Award. That criteria states, "documented display of exemplary character and sportsmanship on the field, on campus, and in the community that exemplifies the core values of Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship and Servant Leadership."
